NFL star JJ Watt has spoken about his links with Chelsea after agreeing to become part of the ownership group of Championship winners Burnley.
Watt, a former defensive end for the Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans, has invested in the Clarets alongside his wife Kealia. The pair were present for Burnley's final game of the season on Monday, a 3-0 defeat of Cardiff City with Vincent Kompany's side ending the 2022/23 campaign ten points clear of Sheffield United in second.
Watt will now gear up for his first full season as an investor in Burnley and with it two games against Chelsea, who the 34 year-old has supported in the past. He has now discussed his affection for the Blues in an interview with talkSPORT and says he will not hide the fact he supported the club.
