NFL power rankings: Detroit Lions are the NFL’s best team

Following their 52-14 demolishing of the Tennessee Titans (1-6) on Sunday, the Detroit Lions (6-1) have jumped to No. 1 in our NFL power rankings this week.

Yes, the Kansas City Chiefs (7-0) are still undefeated, but the Lions have been red-hot while the Chiefs have clear deficiencies. If Detroit and KC met today, the Lions would probably come out on top.

Elsewhere in the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings (5-2) dropped their second consecutive game with a 30-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams (3-4).

The Cleveland Browns (2-6) upset the Baltimore Ravens (5-3), but it’s way too early to rank them above Baltimore.

The Buffalo Bills (6-2) took care of business against the Seattle Seahawks (4-4) and the Washington Commanders (6-2) defeated the Chicago Bears (4-3) on a last-second Hail Mary throw.

Following those results, here’s how teams stack up in our latest rankings.
