Patrick Mahomes is getting pretty used to things going his way.
In six seasons as an NFL starter, Mahomes has won three Super Bowl rings, three Super Bowl MVPs and two NFL MVPs. He’s never failed to take his Kansas City Chiefs to at least an appearance in the AFC title game.
But even with all that success, there are still a few lowlights that haunt Mahomes’s football career, and one particular clip comes up every year around this time in the offseason.
Mahomes did not run a great 40-yard dash when he was taking part in the NFL combine, and NFL Network has made a habit of using Mahomes’s run as a point of comparison during its broadcast of the combine in recent years.
Heading into this year’s combine, Mahomes explicitly requested that the network not use his embarrassingly slow run as an example.
Unsurprisingly, NFL Network didn’t listen.

Even with the light jab, Mahomes seemed to have a pretty good attitude about the whole situation.

For two decades of Tom Brady’s greatness, fans always looked back on his unimpressive shirtless photo as an example of the extraordinary looking shockingly ordinary.
Moving forward, we have Mahomes’s 40-yard dash to celebrate.
