At the end of a wild, lateral-filled play by the San Francisco 49ers against the Los Angeles Rams, there was a minor scuffle along the Rams’ sideline. Derion Kendrick, who was inactive, shoved Brandon Aiyuk, which did not sit well with the league.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Rams were fined $100,000 for that incident involving Kendrick. Additionally, Kendrick was fined $5,656 individually, and Kamren Kinchens was also hit with a $5,653 fine.
It was such a hefty fine because Kendrick was inactive and was involved in an incident on the field. Kendrick is out for the year and on injured reserve after tearing his ACL on the first day of training camp.
