Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady officially called it a career on Tuesday after a legendary 22-year run in the NFL. And if there’s one thing we’re going to miss about his time in Tampa, it has to be Mike Evans unknowingly tossing milestone-setting footballs into the stands.
Of course it happened one final time.
Back in October, Evans had a hilarious reaction on the bench when he realized that he had handed the football from Brady’s 600th touchdown pass to someone in the crowd. It became a whole thing with Brady and the Bucs ultimately making a trade with the fan.
Well, with Brady’s official retirement, Evans was the last player to catch a touchdown pass from Brady. And someone out there got themselves an iconic souvenir because watch what Evans did with that football.
