The Tennessee Titans were the No. 1 seed in the AFC heading into the playoffs this year but a lot of people had their doubts on how they would fare, mostly because their QB, Ryan Tannehill, just isn’t as good as the best QBs in the AFC.
Well, the Titans had their season come to an end Saturday with a 19-16 loss to the Bengals and wouldn’t you know it – Tannehill’s brutal performance is a big reason why they’re packing their things and calling it a year.
Tannehill threw 3 INTs, including one in the final minute that led to the game-winning FG. He also threw an interception on his team’s first play of the game, which helped set the tone for a Bengals team that won the AFC North and advanced to the AFC title game for the first time since the 1988 season.
An interception on his team’s first play of the game and an INT on his team’s last play of the game? WOOF.
Ryan Tannehill had 0 interceptions in the last 3 games coming into today.
He had 2 total interceptions in 4 career playoff games.
