The Cleveland Browns and the rest of the NFL world, save the Los Angeles Rams top brass, descend on Indianapolis, Indiana for the NFL combine this week. A chance to see draft prospects compete in drills has made the event a television spectacle but some of the real value goes on behind the cameras.
Browns GM Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski will meet with the media, as will most other top guys of NFL teams. Berry is scheduled to talk on Tuesday at 2:15 PM while Stefanski takes the podium Wednesday at 1:45 PM.
Our own Jeff Risdon will be to take in these sessions, follow along with him on Twitter.
Neither Berry or Stefanski has been known to be forthcoming during press availability but are bound to be questioned about Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry, wide receivers in the NFL draft and, perhaps, the Malik McDowell situation. While they may not say much, each word and inflection is likely to be broken down by many to try to read between the lines.
With the combine being the unofficial start to the offseason, with rumors likely flying around in the next few days, it will be interesting what Browns news, reports and rumors come out of the event.
