The Seattle Seahawks’ primary rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, are getting a major component back to their offense. The Niners have been struggling this year, more so than expected, as they are coming off yet another embarrassing Super Bowl loss. San Francisco is merely 4-4, but good news is coming on Sunday.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan has announced superstar running back Christian McCaffrey will be good to go for the 49ers’ Week 10 showdown in Tampa Bay.
49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said RB Christian McCaffrey is “good to go” for Sunday’s game vs. Tampa despite the team listing him as questionable due to his calf and Achilles injuries.

McCaffrey has not played one snap this season, as he has been out dealing with calf and Achilles issues. He was placed on Injured Reserve in September.
The obvious implication is not a good one for the Seahawks. Right now, Seattle is on their bye week. But when they return, they will face the 49ers on the road… with, most likely, Christian McCaffrey leading the charge. Bad luck for the Seahawks, who had to face a Rams team at full health and now a San Francisco squad getting their best player back into the fold.
At the moment, Seattle is in last place in the NFC West with their 4-5 record. Another loss to San Francisco would sink them further, and put even more damage to their playoff aspirations.
