Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has indicated he will stay with the Ligue 1 side for the upcoming season.
The Brazilian's future has been one of the main transfer window stories of the summer. There has been speculation linking the 31-year-old with leaving Princes Park after six years, with Manchester United one club to be loosely linked earlier this year should Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim take over at Old Trafford. The Manchester Evening News understands that a move would be incredibly unlikely under the current regime.
Unconfirmed reports emerged in May that United had supposedly made contact with PSG over a move for the Brazilian, but there have been no concrete updates from either party since. United boss Erik ten Hag played down that talk, when asked in a press conference towards the end of the season.
Ten Hag was asked whether Neymar was a player of interest to him. He replied: "When we have news we will tell you."

Rumours emerged amid the ongoing takeover saga at Manchester United. One of the two leading candidates in that process is of course Qatari billionaire Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani - and PSG are owned by Qatari Sports Investments.
Neymar scored 13 goals and assisted 11 in his 20 league appearances for PSG last season. But, there was talk in the media of him being unhappy at the club after another disappointing Champions League campaign. Luis Enrique has been appointed as the new manager of PSG, but the Spaniard did not offer much clarity on Neymar's situation when asked by the press.
With Lionel Messi having already left PSG, Enrique said: "I haven’t spoken with Neymar yet. If he should be part of my project? This kind of information I would like to give it to you, but it is part of an internal information."
However, Neymar has now taken to social media after a vacation back home. It appears the forward's focus is firmly on returning to PSG and getting ready for the new season.
He has posted a pre-flight picture, captioned: "Partiu... season 23/24." Fans of the French club noticed the post and quickly shared their excitement for his return on social media.
One fan wrote: "The Brazilian looks to be staying at PSG this summer!"
