Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has reportedly triggered a clause in his own contract that will extend his stay at the Parc des Princes until 2027 - despite claims PSG want rid.
Neymar has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer, but reports have claimed that the Brazilian will scoop £155million more from the French giants over the next five years, having signed a five-year deal last year to keep him at the club until 2026. However, it's claimed he has now activated an annual extension option that adds another year to his deal.
Reports of Neymar’s extension have been claimed by Spanish paper Sport and would make the chances of an exit this summer even more unlikely. That's despite it being believed that the club's hierarchy, led by chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi and new sporting director Luis Campos, are eager to part ways with their No.10 immediately.
