‘Next station is Baking Street’: Activists rename tube stations in heatwave protest

A group of activists have “renamed” several iconic London Underground stations as the UK struggled through a record-breaking heatwave with highs of 37C.

Greenpeace protesters turned Baker Street into “Baking Street”, London Bridge into “London’s Burning” and Tottenham Court Road into “Hottenham Court Road”.
