Sunday might have felt like 'Erling Haaland day' for Manchester City fans, but at the new signing presentation event at the Etihad Stadium, Julian Alvarez left his own positive impression.
While Haaland exuded confidence on stage by pumping up the crowd and joining in with the supporters' chants, Alvarez - speaking through an interpreter - was honest and open about his strengths, keen to not worry about competing with Haaland and focus on his own game.
"I need to focus on myself, he's [Haaland] a great player, scores lots of goals," he said. "I want to contribute my own things... I want to play a lot, win the Premier League and Champions League."
