Who Will Be The Next Arsenal Manager?

Managing a club like Arsenal will also come with high expectations – they are one of the best sides in the Premier League and Europe, plus employ some of the most talented players in the world.

Therefore, with just one bit of silverware (2020 FA Cup) since Mikel Arteta took over as Arsenal manager in December 2019 – some are suggesting a change at the helm with this average record.

Yes, Arsenal have made a fair start to their 2024/25 campaign, but with a lot of draws in the league have lost ground on leaders Liverpool – which means they can’t afford anymore slip-ups if they want to keep their title race dreams alive.

All this is adding to the pressure on Arteta – with Arsenal just a few league defeats away you feel from dropping out of the Premier League race this season.

With that in mind, the SportsCasting traders and best football betting sites in the UK have updated their next Arsenal manager odds market – and there’s a whole host of big names on it.

Simone Inzaghi The Favourite To Replace Mikel Arteta

Former top striker and now Inter Milan head coach Simone Inzaghi is the name topping the next Arsenal manager odds market.

Inzaghi has been in charge at Inter since 2021, having been snapped up after impressing at Lazio. Joining them on 27th May 2021.

His contract with Inter runs until 2025 and having guided Inter to the Serie A title in 2023-24 is a name that’s been linked with a whole host of top European football sides – including Arsenal.

Could Arsenal Turn To Two More Spanish Managers?

Should Arsenal replace Mikel Arteta, then they could easily keep the Spanish theme going too.

Two players that Arteta played with at International level – Xavi and Luis Enrique – are also figuring high up the list the best betting sites in the UK in the next Arsenal manager odds market.

Since hanging up their playing boots – like Arteta – the pair have impressed in their roles as head coaches. With Xavi having been at Barcelona between 2021 and 2024 where he was in charge of 142 games – winning 89.

He was, however, released by Barcelona after some key defeats in May 2024 and is now a free agent.

Luis Enrique has experience as an international manager – when looking after Spain, while is another head coach that has Barcelona links – having been their manager between 2014-17.

He’s now in charge at Paris Saint-Germain – joining them in July 2023, where he won the domestic treble at the French club in his first season, plus also reached the Champions League semi-finals. Making him one of the hottest managerial properties in Europe.

Eddie Howe The Shortest English Manager In The Next Arsenal Manager Market

The next Arsenal manager odds market is dominated by a whole host of foreign names – which means the shortest-priced English manager is Eddie Howe at 16/1.

Howe, who is at the helm at Newcastle at the moment would not be the worst shout in the world to end up at the Emirates.

However, Howe would either need to be sacked by Newcastle, or Arsenal pay heavy compensation to the Magpies if they went down the Eddie Howe route.

Commentary: sportscasting.com/uk spokesman Andy Newton, reacted to our Arsenal Manager Odds’ saying:

“With just one trophy during his time at Arsenal, many Gunners fans are saying this is Mikel Arteta’s ‘make or break’ season.

“With their league challenge hanging in the balance, you feel Arteta will need a good performance in the Champions League to save his job at this end of this campaign – with another FA Cup win unlikely to satisfy the Emirates faithful.

“If he does leave, there are many top European names high up on the list that could be waiting in the wings – with the most-likely at this stage looking Xavi. However, there is every chance he might take another role before the Arsenal job comes up.
