Just like our beloved Trailblazer's bizarre personality, the banners in Honkai: Star Rail are constantly changing, so it's a good idea to keep track of what the current banners and next banners are.
Limited-time rotating banners are called Event Warps in Star Rail, and they usually run for three weeks. Whether it's a new banner or a rerun, once those three weeks are up, it's time to say goodbye and greet the new banners with your stack of Special Pass tickets. Or in my case, a stack of three tickets, because it's hard to save when you want every dang character in the game.
Here's everything we know about the current version 4.2 banners and the next version 4.3 banners in Honkai: Star Rail. We've also got a list of all banners history detailed at the end of the page.
Next banners in Honkai: Star Rail
Evanescia, Tribbie, Sunday, and Feixiao are the next banners in Honkai: Star Rail, during Phase 2 of version 4.2. Their banners start on May 13.
Evanescia is a new five-star Physical-attacker of the Elation path and seems to be an expy of my beloved Yae Miko from Genshin Impact (herself and expy of Yae Sakura from Honkai Impact 3rd). Sorry Silver Wolf, but even with the not-so-subtle push from HoYo, I'm saving for Evanescia. Gotta collect my pink-haired Yae's in every universe, after all.
Tribbie, Sunday, and Feixiao are all running in the Indelible Coterie banner, with Tribbie a five-star Quantum-attacker of the Harmony path, Sunday a five-star Imaginary-attacker of the Harmony path, and Feixiao a five-star Wind-attacker of the Hunt path.
The four-star characters on these next banners are:
- Guinaifen (Fire, Nihility)
- Lynx (Quantum, Abundance)
- Sushang (Physical, Hunt)
4.3 banners in Honkai: Star Rail
Drip marketing comes in clutch again, as it's revealed that Mortenax Blade is coming in version 4.3 of Honkai: Star. This is (unsurprisingly) a variation of Blade, everybody's favorite sad boy Stellaron Hunter. Reliable leaker Full Stop Chan also reckons that Gilgamesh and Rin will be added to the Fate/stay night collaboration banners in 4.3.
Current banners in Honkai: Star Rail
Silver Wolf LV.999, The Dalhia, Castorice, and Firefly are the current banners in Honkai: Star Rail, which are set to end on May 13. Silver Wolf LV.999 is a new five-star Imaginary attacker of the Elation path, and the anniversary character, so watch out for that big 'ol splash banner greeting you at the start of 4.2.
The Dalhia, Castorice, and Firefly are all rerunning on the Indelible Coterie banner, with The Dahlia a five-star Fire-attacker of the Nihility path, Castorice a five-star Quantum-attacker of the Remembrance path, and Firefly a five-star Fire-attacker of the Destruction path.
The boosted four-star characters on the current banners are
- Gallagher (Fire, Abundance)
- Xueyi (Quantum, Destruction)
- Hook (Fire, Destruction)
Also, remember that Saber and Archer are also still running on the special Fate/stay night Collaboration Banner, and you can expect Saber and Archer to stick around for "a long time." I wish I could be more specific than that, but sorry, that's all miHoYo gave us to work with. What I can tell you is that Saber is a five-star Wind-attacker of the Destruction path, and Archer is a five-star Quantum-attacker of the Hunt path.
Two free five-stars
In other news, don't forget that you can only claim Jing Yuan, Kafka, Imbibitor Lunae, Jingliu, Sparkle, Acheron, or Aventurine for free until the end of version 4.2.
To celebrate Star Rail's third anniversary, we also got a free Golden Companion Spirit item in 4.2, which can be used anytime to claim a five-star character for free from the Stellar Convergence store. Huohuo and Robin have now been added to this store, meaning the full list of characters you can get for free from here are:

Next Light Cone banner in Honkai: Star Rail
In the next Light Cone banner in Phase 2 of version 4.2, the Brilliant Fixation Light Cone banner will feature Until The Flowers Bloom Again, Evanescia's signature Elation path weapon. The Coalesced Truths Light Cone banner in Phase 2 features:
- If Time Were A Flower - Tribbie's signature
- A Grounded Ascent - Sunday's signature
- I Venture Forth To Hunt - Feixiao's signature
The boosted four-star Light Cones in Phase 2 of version 4.2 are:
- Swordplay (Hunt)
- Memories of the Past (Harmony)
- Shared Feeling (Abundance)

Silver Wolf LV.999's signature Elation path Light Cone, Welcome to the Cosmic City, is on the current Brilliant Fixation Light Cone banner during Phase 1 of version 4.2 in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai: Star Rail banner list
Honkai: Star Rail has taken to throwing banners our way at an alarming rate these days. The 'ol standard of a new character and a rerun every phase of a patch has now turned into a dice roll on whether the Indelible Coterie banner and its six character reruns will appear or not. (Do you not have enough of our money already miHoYo!?)
Choice paralysis aside, these special banners have been a great way to ensure no character gets left behind for too long, which happens all too often in HoYo's other gacha juggernaut, Genshin Impact.
