A property in Newton Mearns has been cordoned off by police following a bomb alert and several residents were evacuated over concerns about explosives.
Police were first called to Pilmuir Holdings on Tuesday evening following a disturbance. It’s understood they then had concerns that explosive devices and equipment could be on the premises.
As a result paramedics and fire officers were then called to the house. It’s understood that a bomb disposal team also attended, the Daily Record reports.
