During his speech at the Republican National Convention, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich highlighted the differences between former President Donald Trump's foreign policy and President Joe Biden's approach.
Gingrich emphasized that he believes the greatest threat to American safety lies in Biden's policies and the individuals he appoints to carry them out, rather than in Biden's cognitive abilities.
He characterized Trump's foreign policy as one of 'resolute strength in a dangerous world,' contrasting it with what he described as Biden's policies of 'appeasement, weakness, and self-delusion.'
Gingrich suggested that this contrast represents a significant divergence between the Make America Great Again movement and what he referred to as the 'make America weak ideology of the left.'
Having resigned from Congress in 1999 and having run for president in 2012, Gingrich has been an early supporter of Donald Trump, backing his 2016 presidential campaign.
