Like Alablaq, Electric Annie opened her account on her most recent attempt with a 12-length margin in a mares’ handicap hurdle at Wincanton 11 days before Christmas.
That success came over two and a half miles, but the additional one furlong and 136 yards here should not pose a problem for a mare who has plenty more to offer.
