King’s (below) six-year-old won his bumper start before winning twice and being placed three times over hurdles — the latest a decent third on his return at Ascot in October behind Highway One O Two.
On his Chase debut at Doncaster last month, in a limited handicap, he was in touch with the leaders when unseating today’s rider Tom Cannon at the fourth fence, but the son of Fame And Glory can make amends this afternoon.
