STORM HILL (2.40) can hit the heights at Plumpton in the Happy 70th Barry Faulkner Handicap Hurdle on Monday.
The seven-year-old ex-Irish pointer, trained by Paul Henderson, was only ninth on his hurdles debut at Newbury in February but was a different proposition next time out at Plumpton a fortnight later.
The gelding led from start to finish to win a 2m maiden hurdle by four lengths from Saligo Bay.
The runner-up has run seven races since — and never been out of the first three.
My selection fell on his return, again over two miles, at Warwick earlier this month just when he was making headway, but should relish moving up half a mile in trip today.
With a clear round, he should be thereabouts.
At Wolverhampton, the consistent ELLIE PIPER (7.00) is fancied to take the 5f BetUk Handicap (Div II) .
The Robyn Brisland-trained four-year-old was a good second to Porterinthejungle at Windsor last time but previous to that won over this course and distance, beating Privilege by half a length.
She can be expected to progress again and a similar display should see her go in again under Luke Morris.
