A fortnight ago to mark the Bangkok Post's 80th anniversary this column carried reminiscences of my early days at the newspaper. Unfortunately there was not enough space to mention some of the more bizarre stories that appeared in the Post in those days. As recent news has been distinctly on the depressing side, in a probably futile attempt to cheer up readers here are some genuine snippets I have saved over the years which made working on the Post so much fun.
