Newport Marathon: Road closures, times and everything else you need to know

Newport K

Details of this weekend's ABP Newport Wales Marathon and 10K have been announced. The event will take place on Sunday, April 16 and comes after the cancellation of last year's race in 2022. The event was postponed until this spring due to "operational risks", the organisers told WalesOnline last year.

There will be a number of road closures in place in Newport on the day, beginning from early morning and in some cases lasting until later on Sunday. There will also be changes to public transport and some disruption around the city centre.

Here is everything you need to know about this year's ABP Newport Wales Marathon and 10K. To get the latest Newport stories straight to your inbox, subscribe to our newsletter here.
