Newcastle United roared back to winning ways thanks to Chris Wood's calm head from the spot. The striker struck in the second half to ease the frustration of having a first half goal disallowed.
The first half was a lifeless affair but the Magpies came to life after the break and deserved the three points.
The only disappointment for Eddie Howe was the sight of Ryan Fraser being forced off injured early in the game.

Here's how Lee Ryder has rated the Newcastle players:
Martin Dubravka 9
A cool customer as he made some vital saves with the lead looking delicate.
Emil Krafth 8
Has quietly gone about his business in style. Probably a bit under-rated.
Dan Burn 9
Quickly bounced back from Spurs with a quality display. Won five aerial balls and almost notched a goal.
Fabian Schar 8
A powerful display as he made clearance after clearance
Matt Targett 8
Never took his foot off the gas down the left-hand side. A thorn in the side of Wolves.
Joelinton 9
A slick pass to send Wood free to win the penalty that won it.
Jonjo Shelvey 8
A very good display as he looked for openings all night and worked tirelessly.
Bruno Guimaraes 10
Man of the match. A sparkling display as he passed the ball around with style. Won all 12 of his duels. 67 touches - all of them pretty special!
Ryan Fraser - N/A
Didn't really get the chance to shine with just five touches before being struck with an early injury.
Allan Saint-Maximin 8
Back to the player fans love. Sliced Wolves open time after time.
Chris Wood 8
Must have been cursing his luck after his goal was chalked off for offside. Showed real coolness for the penalty.
