Newcastle United women's manager Becky Langley has revealed some eye-catching modifications to the St James' Park tunnel ahead of the Women's FA Cup against Barnsley Women.
Having played their first-ever match at the Stadium against Alnwick Town Ladies last season, the Magpies return to St James' in hope of securing another memorable result following the 4-0 win in May.
Another large crowd is expected this time around with more than 25,000 tickets already sold for this weekend's clash. The match also represents a final opportunity for supporters to consume live action ahead of the festive period.

With the Premier League forced into taking a mid-season break due to the ongoing World Cup, it appears Newcastle have made the most of an absence from men's fixtures by adapting display on the walls of the tunnel.
Langley tweeted a picture which shows "Howay the Lasses" being featured as opposed to the normally present "Howay the Lads." Each member of her squad will see the design as make their way onto the pitch later.
Judging from the reaction of fans on social media, such adaptations have been very well received.
Langley had hailed the impact of Newcastle's PIF ownership group on the women's set-up, telling BBC Sport : "It has been fantastic for the women's team.
"Previously we didn't have the infrastructure in place and now Amanda and the team have come on board, they're really driving women's football at the club. There's a lot more professionalism and we're all thriving in that environment."
Newcastle's sporting director Dan Ashworth has outlined a plan for Newcastle to reach the Women's Super League by 2025, meaning the team need to achieve three consecutive promotions. While the team, who play in National League Division One North, is still a part-time outfit, the club's significant backing means the prospect of playing in the top-flight of the women's game is not wholly unrealistic for Langley and her players.
