While the players are flying down to London, Newcastle United's WAGs boarded a train from the city on Friday morning, as they get set to cheer on their other halves at Wembley on Sunday.
Having been in the stands at St James' Park at the start of February to see United clinch their spot in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester United, the wives and girlfriends of Eddie Howe's team are now hoping there'll be some celebrating to be done at the home of English football come 6.30pm on Sunday.
The atmosphere at SJP has risen to new heights since the club takeover at the end of 2021 and the Magpies' resurgence under boss Howe and many of the WAGS have been there for every match this season, sharing snapshots from games, including plenty of choruses of Hey Jude on their Instagram stories.
They were there to revel in the massive buzz around the ground when Newcastle's 2-1 win over Southampton under the lights at St James' bagged the team their first trip to Wembley since their FA Cup final defeat to Man United in 1999 and they will be there to back NUFC all the way as they aim to win their first bit of major silverware since 1969.
It was captain Kieran Trippier's wife Charlotte who gave the first indication that the WAGS were London bound on Friday, when she filmed herself going into United's training ground at Darsley Park, as fans flanked either side of the road ready for the players to arrive.
And then a few hours later, Charlotte returned to Instagram to put a short clip of her in a train carriage, which she 'captioned 'En route.'
Miguel Almiron's wife, influencer Alexia Notto posted a very similar video from the train on her Insta story.
The social media star, who has 242,000 followers, is London bound having had her nails done in United's famous black and white colours ready for the final, declaring to fans that she was in 'fan mode.'
Another Newcastle WAG set to be in attendance at Wembley for the Carabao Cup final is Diletta Leotta, the TV star girlfriend of Luis Karius, the keeper who is likely to be given the Newcastle United keeper's jersey for the big game. AS well as cheering him on, Diletta will also have a job to do as a presenter for DAZN, the TV broadcaster she works for.
