Eddie Howe replaced injured Joe Willock with Geordie youngster Elliot Anderson in midfield in his big selection call of the day.
The Academy product was handed his chance with the Carabao Cup final just around the corner. This was Anderson's first ever Premier League start.
Anderson slotted into midfield with Sean Longstaff and Joelinton for the clash against Liverpool. Allan Saint-Maximin, Alexander Isak and Miguel Almiron were again the front three.
