Newcastle United are preparing for the exits of two squad players with Federico Fernandez and Matty Longstaff due to depart on loan deals.
Spanish side Elche had agreed a deal to take Fernandez while Longstaff is off to the EFL to get much needed game-time.
Fernandez has not featured in a competitive game since last December and is going into the last year of his contract.

United have been in talks with West Ham to sign Harrison Ashby from West Ham on loan but face competition from Leeds.
There has also been talk of a late enquiry for Watford's Joao Pedro but this came in the build-up to deadline day and it remains to be seen whether Newcastle go in again for the Brazilian the Magpies have already bid twice for.
The most high profile exit of the day will be Martin Dubravka who is due to sign for Manchester United on loan.
