Here are the Newcastle United transfer rumours and gossip on Friday, November 4.
Newcastle could 'take advantage' of AC Milan star's poor form with cheap swoop
Newcastle United could reportedly 'take advantage' of AC Milan star Charles De Ketelaere's poor start to his career with the Rossoneri by proposing a bid in the January transfer market according to Dutch outlet Voetbalkrant.
The 21-year-old has struggled in his first season in the Serie A and has registered just one assist in 16 appearances without finding the net himself.
This is in stark contrast to his excellent season last year with Belgian top division winners Club Brugge where he managed 18 goals and 10 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions, leading to a £32 million move to Milan.

It's unlikely the Magpies would have to pay that much for the Belgian international however, especially if AC Milan see a bid of around £30 million as 'damage limitations'.
With more and more criticism coming his way, especially in such a harsh environment as Italian football, as seen with Juventus' surprisingly poor start to the season, it's entirely possible that De Ketelaere could be playing in black-and-white next season if made a high priority by Eddie Howe and his staff.
That is if Leeds United do not get in their way as Voetbalkrant also reports that they are another interested party - however, with both sides' respective league positions, De Ketelaere would almost certainly choose St. James' Park over Elland Road.
£40m Bundesliga star 'hints' at Newcastle United move after bid
Newcastle United transfer target Amadou Haidara has hinted at leaving Bundesliga club RB Leipzig as early as the January transfer window.
It was reported by the Daily Mail in the summer that the Magpies had sent in a bid of up to £40 million for the Mali international's services but it clearly fell on deaf ears as he stayed in Germany.
Playing from central midfield, the 24-year-old has found 12 goals and assists from 129 appearances in Germany's top-flight after moving from Austrian sister team RB Salzburg where he managed 12 goals and 17 assists in just 89 matches.
Speaking to the Guardian, Haidara explained that if he was to leave Leipzig, it'd be a move to the Premier League but noted he was content with his place at Leipzig.
"I have a few good friends playing there. But I’m at Leipzig and I’m working hard to continue my development. The matches in the Premier League are very intense. It’s always a good game, no matter which club plays. We’ll see what happens. But I’m happy at Leipzig."
