Newcastle United have touched down in Saudi Arabia ahead of a warm weather training camp.

Amanda Staveley has accompanied the side in their trip to the middle east, with Mehrdad Ghodoussi staying in the North East to assist with transfer proceedings.

The Magpies have been under the spotlight since the Saudi-led PIF takeover at St. James' Park, with the organisation accused of 'sportswashing' in relation to the country's poor human rights record.
