Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has handed Loris Karius his debut for the Magpies in Riyadh against Al-Hilal.
The German international could be handed a new deal in due course with Howe happy with him as competition for Nick Pope. Howe has named a back four of Javier Manquillo, Jamaal Lascelles, who captained the team, Sven Botman and Jamal Lewis.

Jonjo Shelvey, Joe Willock and Joelinton patrol the midfield while Jacob Murphy, Allan Saint-Maximin and Chris Wood are the front three.
The bench includes Miguel Almiron, Sean Longstaff and Ryan Fraser while a sprinkling of youngsters saw Dylan Stephenson, Lewis Miley and Jay Turner-Cooke get their chance.
