Eddie Howe restored Ryan Fraser to his starting line-up for the clash against Serie A side Atalanta at St James' Park tonight.
The Scotland international had been missing in Lisbon due for a family issue but he returns to the side against the Serie A team. Howe went with Nick Pope in goal, Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schar, Dan Burn and Matt Targett as part of his defensive rearguard.
Sean Longstaff and young Geordie Elliot Anderson started in midfield along with Miguel Almiron. And Jacob Murphy, Ryan Fraser and Chris Wood led the line.

Howe had to use his full squad over a weekend of two games, with Athletic Bilbao the visitors tomorrow, and named Dylan Stephenson, Alex Murphy and Jamie Miley as three of the subs.
The likes of Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson were rested while Jonjo Shelvey is missing for up to a month a hamstring issue. Joelinton is suspended for the game against the Italian side.
