Newcastle United supporters have poked fun at Tony Bellew after he called Everton's clash with the Magpies a cup final. The Toffees are fighting for their lives at the foot of the Premier League table while Eddie Howe's Newcastle can strengthen their grip on the top-four with a win this evening.
It's been a memorable campaign for the Toon, who were beaten Carabao Cup finalists earlier this season. Black and white supporters have responded, tongue in cheek, claiming they can win silverware tonight.
Of course, the Magpies are out of the FA Cup with the Premier League and top-four qualification their only aim for the remainder of the season. Newcastle's rise has been remarkable under Howe and they can take another huge step towards European football.
