Miguel Almiron and Joelinton earned the plaudits from supporters after Newcastle United cruised to victory in Saudi Arabia. A comfortable 5-0 victory over Al Hilal helped the Magpies brush off the cobwebs at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium.
A brace from Joelinton and Almiron put Newcastle in a commanding position before youngster Dylan Stephenson completed the rout. Al Hilal - the Saudi Pro League champions - failed to muster a reply.
Earlier this year, a mid-season trip to Saudi Arabia proved a productive move as United stormed to survival following their return. Eddie Howe will be hoping to inspire another purple patch once comparative action returns on December 21.
