Allan Saint-Maximin has thanked Newcastle United fans for their support after Wor Flags' Gallowgate End display against Crystal Palace. The Magpies winger has struggled in recent weeks and has been the subject of criticism online.
Nonetheless, the Frenchman has played his part throughout the campaign despite his recent struggles. The 25-year-old played a huge part in the winner at Wolves with a deft nutmeg that sent Joelinton on his way to win Newcastle a penalty, and the former Nice winger has chipped in with vital goals.
Wor Flags unveiled a tifo in support of Saint-Maximin before kick-off at St. James Park last night. Speaking after the game, he said: "Wow. What a game. Six wins at home. That's for you. Thank you very much for that, I didn't expect that.

"I'm really happy tonight for the win. You are incredible fans and thank you for the support."
Saint-Maximin has been regularly linked with a move away from Tyneside this summer despite his poor run of form. Last Friday said he'd like to stay "a long time" but he will assess his options in May.
The Newcastle winger also took to Twitter to thank supporters. He said: "I will never be able to thank you enough for this. I will remember this day for the rest of my life! Thanks for everything!"
