Newcastle United sent 'different dynamic' Jadon Sancho Mancester United warning

Robbie Keane believes Jadon Sancho is 'playing his way' into Manchester United's side for their Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United at the weekend.

Sancho emerged from the bench after the half-time interval to score his second goal in three games in the Premier League as the Red Devils won 3-0 against Leicester City. He previously found the net when Man United came from behind to draw 2-2 against Leeds earlier this month.

The England international has forced his way back into Erik ten Hag's plans, and former Tottenham Hotspur forward Keane believes Sancho brought a completely 'different dynamic' to the Red Devils' performance in the second half.

"I think it changed [the game] bringing Sancho on, it definitely helped," Keane told Sky Sports.

"He brought a different dynamic to the game and he looks back to himself, back sharp, and he’s playing his way into the team for the final next week.

"The level in that second half was a lot better than in the first."

Newcastle travel to Wembley for the first time since 1999, and face Man United in their first League Cup final in 47 years on Sunday, February 26.
