Newcastle United are still behind Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the bookmakers' favourites to finish in the top four, despite leading all three clubs in the table.
Eddie Howe's side have enjoyed an impressive start to the season - losing just one of their first 15 Premier League matches. They signed off for the World Cup with five straight league victories and a further seven wins from their last eight games in the English top-flight.
The Magpies are currently 11/8 with Bet365 to finish in the top four, and 1/4 with the same betting organisation to make the top six.
Although the top four looked a tall order at the start of the season, Newcastle's form of late has made UEFA Champions League qualification a more realistic prospect.

Their chances have also been boosted by the recent form of their competitors. Tottenham have lost three of their last five league games, while Man United's 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa reminded everyone that the Erik Ten Hag revolution is firmly in its infancy.
Liverpool have also suffered for form with just six wins from their opening 14 league games, which leaves them seven points off the top four and 15 points off the Premier League summit.
Newcastle defeated Chelsea 1-0 at St James' Park on Saturday to condemn the Blues to a third league defeat on the bounce for the first time in seven years. Chelsea's defeat also saw them drop into eighth place in the table, behind Brighton, who've enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, on goal difference.
With the battle for European qualification finely poised, here are the latest odds from Bet 365.
