Allan Saint-Maximin limped off for Newcastle United as they endured a costly evening against Bournemouth with the visit of Liverpool looming.
The Frenchman was forced off in the latter stages of their 1-1 draw at the Cherries after an aerial challenge in what looked to be an innocuous collision. He was the third casualty of the evening after Joe Willock and top goalscorer Miguel Almiron all exited proceedings prematurely.
They add to the growing concerns for Eddie Howe's side, who saw Callum Wilson miss the trip to his former club through a "hamstring complaint". Liverpool will make the trip to St James' Park next Saturday.

Almiron was forced off with 10 minutes left after appearing to suffer from a wrist injury. The Paraguayan had earlier brought Newcastle level. In the first half, Willock departed holding his hamstring.
The Magpies are pushing for a place in Europe next season and have their first cup final since 1999 on the horizon when they face Manchester United in the Carabao Cup.
But their draw with Bournemouth saw them squander the opportunity to overtake the third-placed Red Devils in the Premier League table ahead of their encounter with Leeds United tomorrow (Sunday).
As it stands, Newcastle boss Howe will face a nervy wait for the diagnosis of his attacking quartet.
