Newcastle United have completed another addition in their scouting department by adding Delroy Ebanks to their backroom team.
The Magpies have already swooped for Man City's Paul McLaren who will join the club as in a new role as head of scouting in July. Ebanks will take up a lead scout (south) role as United look to make sure no stone is left unturned in the south of England.
Ebanks spoke of his current role at West Ham - where he scouts U12 to U21s - and said: "Whatever it may be, we make sure they have as much information about that player [as possible].

"If you don't believe the player has the potential to go on and play in West Ham's first team, I feel like you're wasting your time."
The newly appointed scouts will report to Head of Youth Recruitment Paul Midgley along with former Hartlepool striker Paul Baker who is lead scout in the north. Baker has been working at United since 2016.
It is all part of a shake-up that sporting director Dan Ashworth hopes will improve the Academy in the coming years. Both the Under-18s and the Under-21s are struggling at the wrong of their respective tables this season and the second string were beaten in the Northumberland Senior Cup by Whitley Bay.
Eddie Howe's Carabao Cup admission
The Newcastle head coach admitted that for all the benefits of the club's run to Wembley for the Carabao Cup final, he accepted that Premier League form had suffered as a consequence.
Speaking in the aftermath of defeat to Man United, Howe said: "In the league, we've stalled a little bit in a sense we've missed a couple of games and haven't won the games that we would have wanted to so we need to reignite that.
"The cup final, as much as we didn't want it to be, was a big distraction for us. Not so much for myself because I'm preparing a game and all of them are very similar processes but for the players, every time they went outside the door, I'm sure it hit them.
"That's gone now and we're back to our league form and we want to attack everything and finish as high as we can."
