Newcastle United fans have given a mixed reaction to Eddie Howe's decision to name an unchanged line-up.
The Magpies earned a 1-1 draw at West Ham last Saturday and will field the same team in the capital this weekend against Brentford.
Pre-match talk on Tyneside centred around whether Saint-Maximin would pass a fitness test after Howe said he would make a 'late call' on the winger yesterday.
Javier Manquillo returns to the bench but, as hinted by Howe yesterday, Emil Krafth retains the right-back spot.
Bruno Guimaraes once again has to settle for a place on the bench, with Joe Willock, Jonjo Shelvey and Joelinton keeping their place in the side.
This is how Newcastle fans reacted on social media after the announcement...
Ginger_Pirlo: No ASM. Krafth. Murphy. I'll take a draw right now. Imperative we don't lose. Keep Brentford in touching distance and we will go 15th with a point. HWTL!
@kieraandixon: Cannot change a winning midfield. Bruno’s time to start will come. Be patient.
@tashhqx: Good luck lads. Keep the hard graft going. Really need a win today and a big headed goal from Chris wood
@bodas73: Cmon lads straight onto them just like last weekend
@JamNUFC4: Expected but imagine what ASM would’ve done to their defence today
@ash_horsman: Happy with this. Bruno will get a chance but it’s hard to decide who he would replace at the moment.
@Goalinton1: Whys everyone hate Murphy? Get it with krath but I think Murphy is a decent player
@toonarmynufc48: Thought he would of started Bruno today, due to this exact team only drawing last week. We need 3 points! Come on
