Newcastle United have confirmed supporters in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia will be able to watch the club’s friendlies against 1860 Munich and Mainz 05 free of charge. The Magpies are set to broadcast the two matches on both NUFC TV and their official YouTube channel as Eddie Howe’s side ramp up their preparations for the new season.
Eddie Howe’s side arrive for their pre-season tour of Austria fresh off the back of a 5-1 win over Gateshead on Saturday, which was the club’s first friendly of the summer. Newcastle will now step up the standard of opposition as they face 1860 Munich at the SaalfeldenArena Bürgerau on Friday, July 15, kick-off 1.30pm BST, before going up against Mainz at the Kufstein Arena on Monday, July 18, kick-off 3pm BST.
1860 Munich are currently plying their trade in the third tier of German football, while Mainz will be kicking off their 14 th consecutive season in the Bundesliga. Magpies’ supporters could catch their first glimpse of new signings Nick Pope and Sven Botman in action across the two matches after missing the game against Gateshead at the weekend.

Newcastle round off their pre-season schedule with matches against Benfica, Atalanta, and Athletic Bilbao, before opening up the new campaign at home to newly promoted Nottingham Forest.
