Newcastle United have completed the signing of Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope, signing a four-year deal.
The England international has agreed to join for an undisclosed fee from the relegated Clarets and joins former Burnley team-mate Chris Wood at St James' Park. The 30-year-old had one year left on his deal at Turf Moor plus the option of a further year.
But despite Vincent Kompany being appointed at Burnley, Pope has opted for pastures new and joins Newcastle on a deal that should see him end his career at St James' Park. Pope has eight England caps to his name.
