Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe looked carefully at two sides against 1860 Munich after his opening line-up were held in the first half in Austria.
The Magpies had grabbed the lead in the second half with 10 of the original line-up still on the pitch as Joe Willock broke the deadlock on 55 minutes. But with just over an hour gone Howe ordered 10 replacements and it didn't take long for two of them to link up and cause further damage.
There were 63 minutes gone when Brazil star Bruno Guimaraes rolled the ball to Sean Longstaff who took a touch and rattled a shot beyond the keeper for his second goal of pre-season.
