Here is your latest 4am Newcastle United transfer digest.
Raphinha 'approach'
Reports in recent days suggest Newcastle United are once again set to consider a summer move for Raphinha. The Brazil international has been consistently linked as a long-term target, only for the winger to trade Leeds United for Barcelona less than a year ago.
The 26-year-old has registered 10 goals and 11 assists in his debut campaign for the La Liga leaders. However, Barcelona's ongoing financial woes means Raphinha is being touted as a potential saleable asset despite only arriving last summer.
Now, Spanish title Sport via Sport Witness claim Eddie Howe's side have 'made an approach' for the attacker, and are willing to pay him more than his current salary with the Catalan giants. Newcastle brought in Anthony Gordon in January, but further depth among the forward line is said to be on the radar in the upcoming window.

Guler talks
Raphinha is not the only attacker under consideration for the Magpies this summer, according to Football Insider. The title claim a club officials have travelled to Dubai this weekend to discuss a potential deal for Fenerbahce's rising star Arda Guler.
The 18-year-old is also said to be courting attention from both Ajax and Barcelona, with the Magpies keen to 'win the race' for his signature. The report outlines how a £4.4 million contract option could be exploited this summer, with Guler needing to play a further 462 minutes of senior football before the end of the season to void the clause.
The attacking midfielder has racked up six goals and four assists in a breakthrough campaign. However, the Turkey international has only made 12 starts for his club this term, while completing the 90 minutes just once.
