Here is your latest 4am Newcastle United transfer digest.
Barnes price tag?
Much of the transfer speculation at Leicester City in recent weeks has surrounded James Maddison, with Newcastle United tipped to revive their interest in the playmaker. However, the 26-year-old is not the only City star to be linked with a switch to St James' Park.
Harvey Barnes has two years remaining on his contract at the King Power Stadium and is 'keen' to join the Magpies, according to Football lnsider. Like Maddison, the wide forward has enjoyed an impressive personal campaign despite the Foxes' struggles.
The report goes on to suggest Barnes, alongside Maddison and Chelsea star Mason Mount, features on Newcastle's shortlist this summer. However, the Magpies and any other interested bidders would have to pay £40 million in order to convince Leicester to sell.

Barcelona's Bruno interest
Bruno Guimaraes' stunning and seamless introduction to life on Tyneside has inevitably led to speculation over a move elsewhere. Real Madrid have repeatedly been linked, and now La Liga champions Barcelona are said to be mulling over a summer move.
The Times claim the Catalan giants are prepared to spend up to £87m to land the Magpies midfielder this summer, despite their well-documented financial woes. However, recent reports suggest the Brazil international is close to signing a new contract with Newcastle.
