Newcastle to host Europe's largest sneaker festival with thousands of rare trainers for sale

More than 100 traders showcasing some of 'the rarest and most desirable' trainers around will be getting together under one roof in Newcastle this autumn for a giant sneaker festival which is to make its debut in the city accompanied by street food and DJs.

Crepe City is described as the biggest sneaker festival in Europe and billed as an absolute must for 'sneakerheads and streetwear fans'. It will take place on October 3 at Utilita Arena where stalls will be laid out with piles of exclusive trainers for sale.

Vendors will be selling from big-name brands such as Nike, Air Jordan and Yeezy and there also will be plenty to keep customers entertained while they browse a selection from the UK and Europe. There will be a host on the day plus a DJ adding a soundtrack to what could well be a six-hour shopping frenzy, with streetware - including names such as Supreme, Palace and Stussy - also up for grabs.
