RuPaul's Drag Race stars will be stutting their stuff at a glamorous show in Newcastle this summer, with meet-and-greet opportunities up for grabs.
Drag favourite Alyssa Edwards and Gothy Kendoll are among those set to star in Drag Mania at Central Park in August. The glitzy event incorporates a mini touring drag convention and this will culminate in a huge drag show which promises to wrap up the night in style.
Also on the advertised line-up are Aja, Kandy Muse, Nicky Doll, Ellie Diamond, Dahlia Sin and Awhora - with more names yet to be unveiled - and the Drag Mania tour is aimed at those who are can't travel to London for the main Drag Con UK event. It will stop off in Central Park - the summer beer garden pop-up in Times Square - on August 14.

Presented by Klub Kids UK and a new addition to the drag events company's programme, the 14-plus event promises to be a hit with Newcastle drag fans who have a choice of ticket options depending on whether they want to attend the whole double-bill. A show-only option allows entry at 7pm for the 8pm performance, headlined by Alyssa Edwards.
Entry to the convention starts from 3pm and this earlier option gives ticket-holders the opportunity to meet the stars of the show - although this may include a requirement to buy merchandise - and to enjoy exclusive performances throughout the afternoon. These tickets, which includes the show ticket too, are very limited in order to avoid queues.
The tickets are £25 for the show or fans can pay £60, which allows entry for two people for the VIP convention, the chance of a meet-and-greet and entry to the show. For information see here and to book see here.
