Newcastle supporters deliver 'winnable' optimistic response to Leicester quarter-final draw

Newcastle United supporters are optimistic of progressing to the next round after they were drawn against Premier League rivals Leicester City in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

The Magpies will play for the third consecutive round at St James' Park, after defeating Crystal Palace and AFC Bournemouth in the previous rounds on home turf.

The quarter-final ties will be played on the week commencing January 9, as Newcastle aim to reach the semi-finals of the competition for the first time since 1976.

Newcastle face Leicester at the King Power Stadium when they return to Premier League action on Boxing Day. Here is how Newcastle fans have been reacting to the draw on social media.
