Primark shoppers in Newcastle learned how to make their clothes last longer during a series of repair workshops in-store.
Customers popping into the Northumberland Street branch on Monday, October 10 had the chance to learn basic sewing skills during sessions led by fashion designer Lorraine Mitchell. As the cost of living crisis hits people hard, the Primark Repair Workshops aimed to offer fashion fans a sustainable and affordable way to get more from their clothes.
The free sessions took place throughout the day, offering shoppers the opportunity to learn a range of handy repair skills including hand sewing, replacing buttons, and fixing zips.
