A new party cocktail bar is gearing up for a sparkling opening - and even some bar-top dancing - in Newcastle following a £650,000 investment.
Be At One has been taking shape in Westgate Road, in the former home of Waiting Rooms sports bar, and is set to reveal its 'electric' décor alongside a whopping cocktail list on Tuesday. Its look - yet to be revealed - will be pink, teal and blue furnishings with accents of gold and silver with LED walls and ceilings as well as neon signs adding to the vibe.
The company describes itself as 'the original party starters' and to prove the point it is promising 'an unmissable launch party' on Saturday, April 1 which people can sign up to in advance. Adding to the city's party scene, the bar will feature a live DJ; a two-for-one happy hour, a photographer, student offers, a selfie wall and a photo booth promising plenty potential for Insta-worthy shots.
