Cosy dining pods on Newcastle's Quayside are set to offer some of the best views of the city's Laser Light City display on New Year's Eve.
The popular festive pop-up, Dine On The Tyne, is promising diners a New Year's Eve experience like no other as groups will be able to enjoy the stunning display from the comfort of their own pod overlooking the Tyne.
The custom-made igloos come complete with indoor heating, a personal speaker system and free Wi-Fi. Inside, parties of up to ten people can enjoy food from the Asian-inspired restaurant Fusion.

The Dining Society has organised the annual Dine On The Tyne pop-up since 2018, attracting over 50,000 diners in that time.
Augusta Gilchrist, from the Dining Society, said the experience has been a hit with diners once again. "Dine On The Tyne has been a great success so far," she said.
"We couldn’t be happier with the delicious menu created by Fusion at Ramside Hall which has gone down a treat with our diners and brought something different to the experience this year.”
Venue bosses say its location on the Quayside, opposite Newcastle Law Courts, makes it an ideal spot to watch the Laser Light City display this New Year - and bookings are still available.
The event runs from Friday, December 30, through to Sunday, January 1, between 6pm and 11pm, with over 80 lasers installed around the Quayside area. The choreographed display - created by BAFTA award-winning artist Seb Lee-Delisle - will light up the Quayside on the hour, every hour, each night.
The lasers will light up the night sky between the Tyne Bridge and Millennium Bridge while also being mapped onto the Sage and the west facade of the Baltic.
Augusta added: “Our cosy pods are the perfect place to come with friends and family to enjoy New Year's Eve with an incredible view of the Tyne Bridge and the city's spectacular New Year Laser Light City display.
“Those that choose the 8.30pm booking will have an extended stay until after midnight at no additional cost. We only have a few sittings left for the rest of December and a limited amount of availability for New Year's Eve so we suggest booking soon to avoid disappointment!”
The experience is priced at £45 per person for bookings of six people and over lasting 90 minutes. Each booking requires a £100 deposit with the remainder of the bill to be paid at the end of the meal.
