Bruno Guimareas has declared that his wedding is a day that will 'stay in his memory forever' and a 'dream come true' as the Newcastle United favourite made his first Instagram post as a married man on Thursday.
On Wednesday, both Bruno and new wife Ana's Instagram stories were full of snapshots from their stunning nuptials, held in the shadow of Brazil's most famous landmark, the Christ the Redeemer statue. The loved up couple were joined by friends and family, including son Mateo, for the ceremony, with both bride and groom looking very smart for their special day.
Since Bruno made his big money switch to Newcastle from French club Lyon at the start of of last year and following the club's huge takeover, Ana has been there with him for all of the big moments, including his first Newcastle goal and the team's Carabao Cup final against Manchester United at Wembley.

Little Mateo is now also becoming a regular at St James' Park to see his dad in action, with the family also being regulars at restaurants like Rio Steakhouse in Jesmond and on Newcastle Quayside.
Sharing some photos of him and Ana at their wedding on Instagram, Bruno penned a post in Portugese about them tying the knot, as well as writing a special message for his new wife.
When translated to English, it reads: "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they will become one flesh. A night/day that will stay in my memory forever! Grateful to God for the opportunity and for another dream come true. I love you and I will love you my woman."
